Give thanks to our Lord. A pastor candidate Brother Bo Zhou (Please check out brother’s self-introduction in the bulletin), recommended by Elder Carl and Elder George, will visit our church during 12/12-12/13 weekend. Below are the arrangements. Saturday night session will be held in Chinese with English translation. If you have any question or suggestion, please feel free to contact deacon coworkers. 周博弟兄的自我介紹
我叫周博，1986 年出生於中國西安，在一個無神論家庭中長大。 2004 年去往北京讀大學， 並於 2010 年畢業， 獲得藥物化學專業的碩士 學位。 同年赴美國明尼蘇達州繼續深造， 並從寄宿家庭那裡聽聞了 福音。我最初認信是在 2011 年底， 並開始在雙城華人基督教會聚會， 但直到 2012-13 年才真正重生得救。在學生團契服侍一段時間後， 我 開始渴望全時間服侍神。當我 2016 年畢業時， 侍奉的呼召已很明確， 並在牧師的建議下開始申請神學院的裝備。 同年年底，我與學生團契 的熊琦姐妹結婚。 我們於 2017 年秋季來到加州攻讀道學碩士， 2018 年喜得一子，預計明年五月畢業。
Self introduction of Brother Bo Zhou
Bo Zhou, born in Xi’an, China in 1986, to an atheist family. I went to college in Beijing in 2004 and graduated with a Master’s degree in Medicinal Chemistry in 2010, and then came in the same year to the US for further education in Minnesota, where I was evangelized by an American family who hosted me. I professed faith in late 2011 and started to go to the Chinese church in Twin Cities, but genuine salvation happened a bit later in 2012-13. After serving in the church’s student fellowship for a while, I started to feel the desire to serve God full-time. By the time I graduated in 2016, the calling was strong enough that I took counsel with my pastor and applied for seminary. Later that year I married my wife Grace from the same student fellowship. We came to California in Fall 2017 for my MDiv, had our first baby in 2018, and I’m looking to graduate next May.
